The Daemon (Luddenbrock Mines, Kaspien’s Laboratory) — Doctor Pepe delivered the killing blow, driving his blade into the creature with surgical finality. The daemon had been restrained by Scarlet’s Entangle; struck three times with radiant energy by Kragor’s magic longsword; pierced by Halite’s trident; twice struck by Elara’s enchanted arrows; scorched by Therin’s burning hands and then seared by his Radiance of the Dawn; gashed by Whisper’s claws; and mauled twice by Scarlet in Moorbounder form. The killing was set up by Kragor, who—on death’s door—cast Armor of Agathys and deliberately offered himself as bait; the daemon bit down and the detonating ice armor blasted cold damage into its face and throat.
The Ruby Golem (Luddenbrock Mines, Kaspien’s Laboratory) — Scarlet stopped the golem by seizing its command amulet while in rat form. The golem now answers to Scarlet.
Kaspien Vohlkrist, Lich (Luddenbrock Mines, Kaspien’s Laboratory) — Kragor destroyed the lich, accidentally, by reaching for the fractured crystal vial with his spectral hand; the glass snapped in two, the soul-spark dissipated, and the eight-hundred-year-old body crumbled instantly to dust.
Flea, Homunculus (Luddenbrock Mines, Kaspien’s Laboratory) — Ceased to exist the instant Kragor shattered Kaspien’s soul-vessel; with its master’s essence gone, its tether to the mortal plane snapped and the creature simply vanished.
Frost Giant, Greataxe (The Mountain Pass) — Hilda Brackmar delivered the killing blow, opening the giant’s throat with her battleaxe and driving a second stroke into its chest. The giant had been wounded by Kragor’s Eldritch Blast and psychic daggers; pierced by crossbow bolts from Doctor Pepe and Brennik; slashed by the echoes of Aedric and Vornesh; struck by Elara’s magic missiles; and mauled by Hilda’s axe in the initial exchange.
Frost Giantess, Greatsword (The Mountain Pass) — Executed by Elara with three streaks of force to the back of the head. The giantess had been forced to grovel by Elara’s command; carved by the echoes of Vornesh and Aedric; hacked by Hilda’s battleaxe; struck by crossbow bolts from Doctor Pepe and Brennik; wounded by Kragor’s Eldritch Blast; weakened by Therin’s necrotic tolling; scorched by Serath’s holy radiance; and battered by his spectral mace.
Roper, the First (The Underdark, Faerzress caverns) — Therin finished it with a searing ray, the stony hide sagging and cracking apart in the violet light. It had been battered down by Elara’s repeated magic missiles; mauled by Scarlet in moorbounder form; savaged by her summoned puma, Tiny; and ground away by Kragor’s teleported Cloud of Daggers.
Roper, the Second (The Underdark, Faerzress caverns) — Vornesh killed it with a thrown spear that punched clean through the joint of its body. It had been struck by crossbow bolts from Doctor Pepe and Brennik; torn by Scarlet in moorbounder form; battered by Serath’s spectral mace; and whittled down by Kragor’s teleported Cloud of Daggers.
Roper, the Eldest (The Underdark, Faerzress caverns) — Therin ended it with a mote of Sacred Flame, the last roper coming apart in radiant fire. The largest of the three, it had been opened three times over by Vornesh’s poisoned scimitars; struck by bolts from Brennik and Doctor Pepe; pierced by Elara’s arrows; cursed by Serath’s Bane and lit by Therin’s Faerie Fire; and ground down by Kragor’s drifting daggers as it grappled the party in its dying spasm.
The Oozes (The Underdark) — Therin delivered the final strike, incinerating the last of the split jellies with a burst of searing fire. Five amber-grey adhesive jellies ambushed the party from small wall openings in a low five-to-ten-foot tunnel. The creatures burned through flesh with acid, knocking Doctor Pepe unconscious twice—both times restored by Scarlet’s rapid healing magic—and split into smaller hungry masses when slashed by Vornesh and her echo’s scimitars. The creatures were battered, boiled, and dissolved by Therin’s mace, holy radiance, and searing flame; Kragor’s cold and necrotic eldritch blasts; Brennik’s warpick; Vornesh’s spear, blades, and echo; Elara’s ice magic and arrows; Scarlet’s shifting column of moonlight; and Doctor Pepe’s relentless dagger strikes.
